Updates

Changelog

Everything new and improved in Vortixy.

v3.4LatestOctober 26, 2026
Intensive exam review, exact calculations, and enhanced privacy
- Fast-track exam review: when your test is only days away, you can switch to intensive review mode and practice flashcards in both directions to master concepts faster.
- Deck backups: save your study decks to a file with one click and restore them anytime without losing your progress.
- Exact math and science: calculations, formulas, and conversions are now computed with step-by-step arithmetic accuracy.
- Active privacy shield: personal details and sensitive information in your notes and files are automatically protected before processing.
v3.3October 22, 2026
A clearer way into your work
- It’s easier to start a chat on your phone, and study tools and learning guides are easier to find.
v3.2October 19, 2026
Mind maps, study plans, saved research reports, and a notebook for your sources
- Ask for a mind map and you get one: the answer opens as a diagram you can read at a glance, with the same content as plain text underneath.
- You can now build a study plan: tell Vortixy the goal and the subject, and you get phases, sessions with a duration, and a review schedule to come back to. The plan is saved in your account so you can keep going.
- Deep research reports are kept, not lost: every report stays in your workspace with its sources, ready to reopen, export or share.
- The sources panel is now a notebook: each source shows the exact snippet you were shown, and you can export them to RIS or BibTeX or bring in references you already have.
- You can also choose how much the model thinks before answering, when the model you are using supports it.
v3.1October 10, 2026
A faster Vortixy, kinder Exam Mode, and translations that stopped slipping into English
- Vortixy opens faster: every page now downloads about half as much as before, so the first screen shows up sooner.
- Exam Mode is easier to use: quiz questions offer only as many answers as genuinely make sense, you can move between them with the arrow keys, and the feedback is announced clearly for screen readers.
- Fixed wording that had slipped into English in several languages, including the message shown when an account is restricted.
- Referral rewards now count only when the person you invited really subscribes, so the credit you earn stays fair.
v3.0October 8, 2026
Exam Mode you can see, honest context, and no more phantom slides
- Studying a YouTube video? Its transcript now shows right inside Exam Mode — read it, copy it, and if the video has no captions you can paste the text yourself for flashcards, quiz, or listening.
- Quizzes and flashcards now open in a big dedicated view, and a quiz-shaped answer never turns into slides on its own — slides only appear when you actually ask for them, on cleaner 5-bullet pages.
- The Context panel stays quiet until your first message and shows your plan's real limit, Automatic mode stops spending the smart engine on stray words like “test”, and the assistant now uses its own tools (numbers, live search, Exam Mode) without you having to name them.
- Selecting text on desktop now pops the toolbar right under your selection, buttons say what they do, and the + menu keeps every study tool one tap away.
v2.9September 6, 2026
Exam scores, clearer prices, and safer account recovery
- Exam Mode now shows your quiz score as you answer, and remembers your best score per quiz — so you can watch yourself improve.
- If a renewal payment fails, your dashboard now says so plainly and offers a direct button to update your card — no hunting through menus.
- Prices show the peso estimate with the day's rate, and checkout tells you when that rate is a reference — the exact charge is always fixed before you pay.
- Signing up or resetting your password now always shows the same confirmation, so no one can use those screens to probe whether an email is registered.
v2.8September 4, 2026
Presentations, spreadsheets and documents that look truly professional
- Presentations get a real slide viewer: move through each slide, jump from the thumbnails, and the file you download arrives with a clean design — proper bullets, tables and presenter notes.
- You can now download spreadsheets: your tables become an Excel workbook with one sheet per table, ready to filter and calculate.
- Word and PDF papers now look ready to hand in: a proper title page, references starting on their own page, clickable links and an automatic table of contents for long reports.
- The document panel is calmer: previews no longer get stuck, each conversation keeps its own document versions, and “refine” writes the suggestion straight into the chat box.
v2.7August 29, 2026
More control when you change plan, plus smoother workspace
- If you move to a smaller plan, you now have 72 hours to choose which chats, projects and saved images to keep — nothing disappears right away.
- The text box feels smoother with clearer suggestions and a tidier workspace.
- Usage is now counted exactly and your dashboard shows the true remainder. The app feels lighter on mobile with clearer prompts, a tidier home and docs with ready-to-copy examples in all 14 languages.
v2.6August 28, 2026
Bring Chat to your own apps
- Create up to 5 personal keys from your Dashboard and call Vortixy Chat from your own apps — same plan quotas apply. Every key stays private and you can revoke it with one tap.
- Docs are calmer and clearer now: authentication, chat, images, web search and quotas explained step by step with copy-ready examples.
- Dashboard and Chat feel lighter — cleaner usage cards, a smoother voice toggle, and a tidier workspace that keeps the focus on your text. Everything still works in all 14 languages.
v2.5August 23, 2026
New Go plan and smoother pricing
- New Go plan: the friendly way to get more — 20 AI answers and 50,000 tokens per day, messages up to 15,000 characters, with the option to use your own AI key if you have one. Perfect for steady daily study and writing.
- Pricing is clearer side-by-side: compare Free, Go, Pro, Max at a glance, with honest annual savings.
- Small fixes: study packs are easier to find, and the wording on pricing and home reads naturally in all 14 languages.
v2.4August 22, 2026
Chat fixes: renames, memories, and translations
- Renaming a chat now works as expected — your new title saves right away, no more snapping back with an error.
- Deleting a memory right after adding it now works perfectly — it stays gone and won't reappear later.
- The model & thinking controls and the web page preview toolbar are fully translated in all 14 languages.
v2.3August 22, 2026
Try Vortixy straight from the landing page
- The landing demo is now the real chat box: pick Study / Research / Writing / Planning or type anything, and your text opens Vortixy Chat with the conversation already started.
- Chat polish: a thin timeline line under the assistant avatar while it thinks, message menus that no longer get cut off at screen edges, and instant answers to plain greetings like “Hola”.
- Progress updates now follow your language from start to finish, so you always know what's happening while your answer is being created.
v2.2August 22, 2026
Spaced repetition — remember what you studied
- Save any quiz from Exam Mode as a study pack and start reviewing right away — your cards are ready when you are.
- Review today's cards on your dashboard — up to 15 at a time — and rate each one as Again, Hard, Good, or Easy to guide your next review.
- Your progress follows a proven spaced-repetition method, so harder cards come back sooner and easier ones later. Everything stays private to your account.
v2.1August 22, 2026
Deep Research — multi-step reports
- Ask for deep research and Vortixy will plan your question, search across multiple angles at once, refine the search if needed, and bring everything together into a clear, sourced report.
- Start it with /research or the research switch next to web search. You'll see progress like Planning, Searching a few angles, and Putting it together, with sources shown right alongside your answer.
- It respects your daily limits and still gives you a helpful answer even if little is found online — you always get something useful to keep working.
v2.0August 21, 2026
Introducing Exam Mode
- Turn any conversation into flashcards or a scored quiz, with Anki export.
- Exam Mode lives in the command palette — no new buttons cluttering the chat.
- Saved chats now reply faster and feel more stable, especially when answers take a moment to appear.
v1.9August 21, 2026
Safer signups and a sharper chat
- Signups now check new passwords against known leaked-password lists — compromised passwords are rejected (if the service is unavailable, signup is never blocked).
- The command palette is fully keyboard-driven: ↑/↓ to move, Home/End to jump, Enter to run, with a clear highlight — and every chat label is now translated in all 14 languages.
- Your daily limits now reflect what you actually used, even when an answer continues or switches models, so counting is fair and accurate.
v1.8August 21, 2026
Image mode: arm it once, send, get an image
- "Create image" is now a mode: activate it from the tools menu and whatever you write next becomes an image.
- A chip above the chat box shows when image mode is active and clears itself after every send.
- Toggle image mode from the command palette; it disarms automatically if your image quota runs out.
v1.7August 21, 2026
Small fixes and refinements
- Refined details across the app for a cleaner, more consistent experience.
- Better responsiveness on different screen sizes.
- Minor corrections to keep your workflow uninterrupted.
v1.6August 21, 2026
Performance and stability improvements
- Faster, smoother experience throughout the app with small visual refinements.
- More stable chat and navigation, especially on mobile.
- General fixes to keep everything running reliably.
v1.5August 18, 2026
Create images in Chat
- Create images directly in chat from the + menu — your draft instantly becomes a picture you can download.
- Every image is saved in a new Images section in the sidebar — preview, download, or delete anytime. Limits by plan: Free 2/day, Go 8/day, Pro 30/day, Max 60/day (saved: 8/15/30/80).
- Ask for an image in any message, alone or with text. Each plan includes a daily allowance that resets daily at 00:00 UTC.
v1.4August 17, 2026
Chat-first copy and production hardening
- The home page, guides, and search previews in all 14 languages now focus on Vortixy Chat only — leftover references to old separate tools are gone.
- Your daily usage is now counted correctly again, so saved conversations keep your character count accurate.
- We tidied things up behind the scenes to keep everything safer and running smoothly.
v1.3August 16, 2026
Faster downloads and a tighter chat
- Vortixy now opens instantly on the web — no more stuck loading screen.
- Your files download right from the page, with no extra steps — on phone and computer.
- Chat history no longer shows duplicate entries when a conversation is saved to your account.
- Signing in with Google is now smoother and more secure — it opens your system browser and brings you right back.
v1.2August 14, 2026
A more human Vortixy Chat
- Now you can enjoy a calmer home page that is easier to scan, with more room for what matters.
- Now you can preview Chat with natural study and work examples in your own language from the start.
- Now you can move between the home page and Chat with clear, consistent words in all 14 languages.
v1.1August 14, 2026
A calmer, more capable Chat workspace
- Mobile Chat now keeps the chat box focused: a single + menu collects files and supported web search, while settings move into one place.
- Choose your model and thinking style more clearly. Models that need your own AI key stay locked until you add it.
- Your conversations are saved to your account, long answers can continue with a tap when needed, and every reply lets you copy or try again.
- Automatic memories are optional and easy to remove anytime. You can also save your work as Word and PDF documents in an academic format ready to turn in.
