You watched a 40-minute recorded class and the next day you barely remember its structure. The problem is not the video: it is that you consumed it as entertainment. This article shows how to turn that video into real study material inside Vortixy, and how to convert your notes into audio to review when you cannot sit in front of a screen.
No manual transcribing needed. In the study panel choose From a YouTube video and paste the link:
The same transcript also powers a review audio, so you prepare it once and use it three times.
First flashcards, to check which concepts come to mind from memory. Then a quiz to measure accuracy under pressure. And finally make sure you understood the order: imagine you must explain it to someone in five minutes. The review audio serves that third step: you listen to it on the way, while cooking or before sleep, reinforcing what you already verified in flashcards and quiz.
The Listen tab of the study panel turns your notes into a review audio of up to ~3 minutes. The script stays visible under the player so you can check word by word what the voice says, and you can download it as MP3. If your language has no voice available yet, you receive the script ready to read — without spending your daily audio quota.
The new features come with modest daily quotas. The Go plan expands those quotas and gives you more room to combine videos, cards and audio without stopping mid-week. You can grow when your pace asks for it; there is no lock-in.
See plans and pick yoursNo. The manual guide to copy the transcript is always available. Daily quotas let you import captioned videos with no card and no paid plan.
No. It is delivered as MP3 so you can download it and listen wherever you want. That way your storage never fills up and the audio is yours.
In every language you receive the written script to read. Spoken audio is available in some languages; in the rest the script covers the same review need.
