Acceptable use policy
Last updated: 2026-04-29
Vortixy is for writing better, not for deceiving. This policy describes what is forbidden and what happens if you do it.
The golden rule
Do not use Vortixy to deceive a third party who relies on a text being yours, or to violate the law, the rights of another person, or the policies of the institution where you will submit the content.
Forbidden uses
It is not allowed to use Vortixy to:
- Commit academic fraud where your institution explicitly forbids it; complying with your school's policy is your responsibility.
- Generate or distribute illegal content: hate speech, sexual exploitation, terrorism, child abuse, doxxing.
- Impersonate another person or entity, or make false claims about the source of a text in contexts where authorship matters (journalism, legal statements, propaganda).
- Run mass spam, phishing, scam or election-disinformation campaigns.
- Re-train, fine-tune or evaluate competing models on Vortixy outputs.
- Scrape or automate the service outside the authorized public API and its rate limits.
- Resell, sublicense or repackage the service without written permission.
- Any attempt to bypass, disable or overload our security controls or per-plan limits.
On academic use
Rewriting your own notes, translating drafts and improving clarity are legitimate uses. Passing as your own a fully AI-generated text where your institution forbids it is academic fraud and a violation of this AUP. Final responsibility is yours.
How to report abuse
If you see Vortixy being used to harm you or someone else, write to vortixyoficial@gmail.com with details. We investigate every case.
Consequences
We suspend or cancel accounts that violate this AUP without refund. In severe cases we cooperate with authorities.
