A study plan usually fails for a boring reason: nobody decides what to do tonight. A list of chapters is not a plan, because every evening you reopen the same question — read, practise, or skip. Vortixy builds the plan instead: phases with an objective, sessions with a duration and the topics they cover, and a review plan with spaced repetition that brings the material back before the deadline. You ask in one line; you follow it in the Library.
What a plan actually contains
Phases. Two to four phases, ordered from foundations to the hardest material. Each phase states an objective as something you will be able to do, not something you will have read: "solve conditional probability problems without notes", not "study chapter 3". Sessions. Each session has a length — 25, 45 or 60 minutes of real work — and the one or two topics it covers. A session is executable: you open it and start, with no further planning. The plan ends with a full simulation of the exam instead of a reading list. A review plan. The spaced repetition is computed by the same scheduler Vortixy uses for flashcards, so the material returns on spaced intervals instead of dying the week before the exam. You do not pick those days by hand, and you do not need to: the plan proposes the order, the app schedules the repetitions. The app builds the calendar, not the model
In Vortixy the assistant proposes the structure — which phase comes first, how long each session lasts, what the review rhythm looks like — and the app turns that structure into real days, spreading the sessions across the time you actually have and adding the review repetitions. A model that invents "day 1, day 2, day 3" hands you a plan that breaks the first time a Tuesday disappears. Here the days are assigned by the scheduler, so the plan survives contact with a real week.
Ask for it in one line
Ask the way you would ask a tutor: "make me a study plan for the probability exam, six weeks, 45-minute sessions", or "I want to learn React in four weeks", or "prepare me for the data certification". Leave out the date or the session length and the model states the assumption in one line and delivers the complete plan anyway; it does not interrogate you first.
Follow it where it lives
The plan is saved and followed from the Library, in the Study plan tab. There you see the phases, the sessions, the next one and a progress bar with the number of sessions you have completed. You mark a session as done — or set it back to pending if you did not finish it — and the progress moves with you.
And when you are in the chat, the assistant can structure the plan for you and tell you that you can save it and follow it from there.
Frequently asked questions
What happens if I miss a session?
Nothing breaks and nothing is rescheduled behind your back. Mark the session as done or leave it pending, move on to the next one, and use the progress bar to see exactly where you are. If your available time changed, ask for a new plan with a lighter load.
Can I use it for something that is not an exam?
Yes. Certification exams, a skill you want in a fixed number of weeks, a long paper you have to deliver: the plan is the same — phases, sessions, review. The last session simulates the final test of that goal.
Does the plan use my own material?
Bring the syllabus, the notes or the file and the plan is built on that content. Without it, the plan follows from the subject you named; it never invents a syllabus and presents it as if it were yours.
